Stop and Stare

So writing has been great and all, but i really haven't shared any pictures of life on the road with you. Here they come!

South Dakota! this epic western was mostly filmed in Pierre and Rapid City, SD

Sioux Falls, SD-- dinner with the Motes, Fr. Haggerty, and some neighborhood kids. Thanks to Fr. H we got to pray Evening Prayer, Night Prayer and a Rosary together!

so the GPS, being the obsolete piece of stuff that it is, told us to go down a gravel road, which very quickly became a dirt road, which was soon nothing but a tire mark in a field. It was here that we drove the van into a pool of muck and spent 3 hours trying to get the undercarriage free.

this is us walking into the sunset, admitting defeat.... walking a few miles for help somewhere near De Smet, SD
in Huron, SD we found the biggest buffalo I've ever seen. It's also home of the largest pheasant anyone has seen.....
post office dummy in Tracy, MN :D

More to come later maybe. It's time to start cooking dinner for day shift. They requested pasta!
